Fully-tempered glass
Fully-tempered glass is heated at 700 degree Celsius and quickly cooled down by gas to create strain, force resistance, load bearing and anti-breaking due to thermal shock.

Features of fully-tempered glass

Force resistance ability is four or five times stronger than normal floating glass of same type, thickness and size.
When broken, the safety glass chips don’t have sharp edges as others therefore it causes no harm to users.
Safety glass can endure high thermal shock. The temperature difference between the surface and core is as high as 200 degree Celsius compared to 50 degree Celsius for normal glass.

All of Eurowindow’s tempered glass products are tested by a special device after tempering step. During checking process, disqualified glass panels will be sorted out to minimize the self-broken possibility when in use. In Vietnam, Eurowindow is the only company importing the glass testing device from Germany which conforms with the standard EN 14179-1 09/2005.

Semi-tempered glass

Semi-tempered glass is processed by the same technology as tempered glass but the heating and cooling steps are different.

Features of semi- tempered glass

Force resistance ability is two or three times stronger than normal floating glass of same type, thickness or size.
When broken, the glass will crack into waving lines from broken points to frames but not fall out in big sheets or shatter into small pieces like fully tempered glass.

Application

The hardness of tempered and semi-tempered glass can resist strong hitting force, vibration, thermal shock and smearing. This type of glass is the perfect choice for construction works which require high safety, force bearing and for interior decoration parts such as curtain wall, partition, hydraulic door, window, car’s window, table, glass bathroom, etc.
