Emotions on “Far-way land”
The music program introducing musician Duc Trinh took place in the warm and friendship atmosphere at the Palace of Vietnam-Soviet Culture on 4thApril, 2010 .The event is typical of the soldier life, the love of soldier, the love for their homeland and love of life. This Arts program which was held by Vietnam Television and coordinated with Eurowindow and Melinh PLAZA will be lively broadcast on VTV3 channel of Vietnam Television.

When the first rhythm of the music track "Far-way land" begins the space of the concert seems to be tranquilized and immersed with transparent and spiritual emotion. Singer Ho Quynh Huong has brought about beautiful melodies and emotional lyrics to the hearts of millions of viewers watching television. The song “Far-way land " is the highlight of the program and is also probably one of the most important milestones in the writing career of the composer Duc Trinh. Expressed his feeling in this programmes, Duc Trinh – a soldier composer could not hide his emotions when talking about this song, that is gratitude for his fallen comrades and also a humanistic perspective and pride towards the sacrifices and losses after the war.

The dancer from University of Military Arts and Culture and singer Ho Quynh Huong began the music program by introducing Duc Trinh composer with the song “Plateau frame”. A beloved student of Duc Trinh, Ho Quynh Huong, who has always been encouraged and guided by him, has shown her popularity and talent with 03 successful songs: “Lua tinh cao nguyen, Tinh yeu linh Tang and Mien xa tham”.

As a military musician, grew up in the military environment, the love of the soldiers is an eternal inspiration of this composer. His songs such as “Thank mom, soldier’s love” are emotional through the performance of two singers Kasim Hoang Vu and Thanh Thuy.
In addition to composing songs, Duc Trinh is also known for the instrumental works and music for dancing. Many of these works have won awards of the Vietnam Music Association and have been staged at many theatrical performances throughout the country. In the “Music Road” program, two of many works of Duc Trinh have been selected to be performed, which were the chapter 3 of the work “Khong de” written for string musical instrument  and dance music “Gao moi”.

Expressing love towards human, life and motherland, most of the songs of this composer are about the love of homeland. Common features in these songs are sudden emotion, but live forever in the hearts of this sentimental artist. The songs such as “Mua xuan, Hoa dai, Em di tim, Tinh xuan, Chieu chia xa…” which were performed by singers Luu Thien Huong Luu Huong Giang, Phuong Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Kasim Hoang Vu, My Le .... fully reflect these feelings.

The two songs “Nguoc dong Huong Giang” and “Dau tich thoi mo coi”, with folk rhythm which showed the diversity in the composing of Duc Trinh have been performed in “Music Road” liveshow by Van Khanh and My Nhu.

Having a serious attitude towards art is what we can feel about this talented musician cum teacher- Duc Trinh. With more than 30 years dedicated to music, his musical path still continues with the creativity, exploration in each song and enthusiasm to each generation.. His music is still widespread and well-known to later generations....
