At night 8th November at the ceremony of launching and receiving Fund “For The Poor 2011” of Hanoi City held by Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, 300 million VND was sponsored by Eurowindow.
This was the response to the “Peak Month for the Poor” (since 17th October to 18th November 2011). Attended in the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Dam- Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Mr. Nguyen The Thao- Chairman of Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee, representatives of the central and Hanoi city ministries and departments.
Over the past 10 years (2000-2010), thanks to the great contribution of kind hearted individuals and organizations, over 140 billion VND was received by the Fund of Hanoi City. From this sauce, the City supported the poor households to repair the dilapidated houses, supporting seedlings and animals, receiving free examination and treatment, facilitating the children of the poor households to go to schools, etc, contributing to ensure the social security in the Capital. At the ceremony on supporting Fund for the Poor 2011, Hanoi City’s Fatherland Front appealed the ministries, departments, enterprises, organizations and social classes to actively participate into the movement of “Day For The Poor” and social security programs to facilitate the poor households to have more resources to eliminate poverty.
In addition to the support to “Fund for the Poor” 2011, Eurowindow also engaged in many charity activities such as Full-moon gifts to patients in National Hospital of Pediatrics, offer of 100 gratitude savings books titled “Red leaf tree” to 100 families under preferential treatment policy, wounded and sick soldiers, relatives of martyr and Vietnam's Hero Mother in four provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hai Duong and Bac Giang, etc.
